Hello, welcome to my homepage. This page is mainly about me, my interests and some other stuff I would like to share.

In July of 2009, Mercedes, Camila, Mateo, Carla and I returned to Colombia for a year. Some events I photographed was Camila's fifteenth birthday party, the yearly Yipao Jeep parade to celebrate Armenia's birthday, and the International Orchid Exhibition.

On February 27th, 2009, my daughter Carla Rosa Namer was born weighing eight pounds, eleven ounces. Mercedes, sister Camila, brother Mateo and I are doing well. Please enjoy the photos of her!

In June of 2006, Mercedes, Camila and I returned to Colombia for the first time in three years. We visited their family and I took lots of nature photos!

Great news! I was married to Mercedes Santos Osorio, my girlfriend of four years in Armenia, Colombia, on December 27, 2002. Please go visit our Wedding Page or our Canadian Reception/Welcome page.

I have a great interest in photography and I took advantage of another opportunity to travel to India and Nepal to try to capture the essense of these countries. I have posted some of my more successful shots on my travels page.

August 1st 1997 I left for Colombia to teach grade 6, 7, and 8 science, grade 9 Biology and grade 10, 11 and 12 Chemistry at Gimnasio Ingles, an international school in the city of Armenia. Unfortunately, Armenia was almost completely destroyed in the earthquake of January 25th, 1999.

I have also included my journals from trips to Cartagena, Peru and Ecuador including the Galapagos Islands. After working in the printing business for seven months from July 1995 to January, I spent six months in 1996 traveling to India and South East Asia. Please check out my journal from that trip called The Singapore Circuit. I have included some pictures from my travels for you to browse. Probably my two biggest interests are music and hockey. I play clarinet and saxophone and enjoy both classical and jazz.
